3 Game-Changing Tips To Follow-Through With Your Goals

Everyday we are grinding to move our goals forward. Yet, in some cases, we get stuck and discouraged! The results are not coming fast enough and we want to quit. Listen, we never quit! We must hang on to the goal and pursue it. In this post, I am going to share three ways to follow-through with your goals. Let's work, people!

Make Mini-Goals

Most times, people have these big goals and they seemed overwhelming. On the other hand, why not make mini goals that align with the larger.

For example, rather than focusing on eating healthy foods for one month, it is easier to eat healthy for the next 2 days. Yes, the next 2...never forget, you have to eat healthy for 2 days, 4 days, 8 days in order to reach 30. Each individual day builds confidence...

Put It On The Calendar

If you are like me, you are driven, motivated, and determined. That's cool! However, it is not always perfect. In some cases, I have had too many goals, and it was hard to figure out what to do and when to do them.

So, I have learned to put my most important goals in my calendar. Yes, I put my goals in my calendar. When I see them on the calendar, they become an appointment for myself. So, you will see my Spanish lessons, weight lifting training sessions, and meditation time on the calendar. There, I put the time and place of each goal. It has made things much easier to process. If it is not on the calendar, it is not that important.

Remind Yourself

Get that iPhone out and use it. The Reminders app on the iPhone (not sure about Samsung devices) is incredible. It is simple, and I set reminders to help me remember my mini goals through the day.

For example, I set a Reminder to remind me to "Read Gritty Spanish". Sometimes, I go through my day and forget that I have set this goal. The Reminders app brings it to the forefront of my attention. My goal is to read these Spanish dialogues everyday. So, around 10:00 a.m., I am reminded to do so. With a simple reminder in conjunction with your calendar, they will keep you aware of your targets.

We are talking about upgrading yourself. Only 3% of people set goals. However, we become champions when we set and follow through with our goals. That is where the real magic happens. Now, imagine doing this over and over...imagine where you are going to be...
